Network School Review Malaysia 2025 November

Network School: Tech Conference Meets Coliving, Coworking, and Doing Sports with Friends

In November 2025, I moved into Forest City, Malaysia, to experience Balaji Srinivasan’s most ambitious project yet. Imagine a high-stakes tech conference that doesn’t end after three days, but instead evolves into a month-long lifestyle of coliving, coworking, and doing sports with friends. This is the Network School.

The People: Silicon Valley’s “Exit” Generation

The most valuable part of the school isn’t just the curriculum; it’s the peer group. In my cohort, there were 200+ attendees—a sharp increase from the experimental early sessions. The demographic was a very specific “vibe”:

  • The Crypto Majority: About 50% of the participants are working directly in crypto or Web3. You’re eating breakfast next to Solana developers, DeFi founders, and DAO architects. It’s an environment where “Proof of Work” is the only social currency that matters.
  • The American Contingent: Roughly 50% of the students hail from the USA. These —founders and engineers who have grown tired of the administrative bloat in the States and are looking for a more efficient, “techno-optimist” way of living.

The Daily Routine: Learn, Burn, Earn

The schedule is designed to eliminate “decision fatigue.” You don’t have to think about what to eat or when to work out; you just show up and level up.

  • Burn: The day starts at the NS Gym. 3 Burn sessions per day. Running, Tennis, Basketball and Golf (10min ride)
  • Earn: The coworking spaces are filled with the sound of “Vibe Coding” and startup sprints.
  • Learn: Couple of workshops per day covering everything from AI agent architecture to the history of decentralized governance.

The “Blueprint” Diet: Eating for Longevity

The food at Network School is a talking point in itself. Heavily influenced by Bryan Johnson’s Blueprint, the menu is optimized for “Not Dying.” We’re talking high-protein focus (lots of chicken) and nutrient-dense bento boxes. Breakfast and dinner are buffet-style at the Marina Hotel, creating a “longevity cafe” atmosphere where the social connections are as healthy as the meals.

Pricing:

For an investor or a bootstrapping founder, the value proposition is incredible. When you factor in that it covers rent, food, 24/7 gym access, and a world-class network, it’s arguably cheaper than living in any major tech hub.

OptionMonthly Cost (USD)What’s Included
Shared Room$1,500Accommodation (shared), 3 meals/day, gym, coworking, all courses.
Private Room$3,000Full private suite, 3 meals/day, gym, coworking, all courses.

The Verdict

Network School isn’t a vacation; it’s a high-intensity residency. If you’re looking to “exit” the standard 9-to-5 grind and surround yourself with the people building the next sovereign internet.

Drivy. Renting a car on carsharing

All the car rental companies I have used, and I have used 10s of different ones, try to rip off clients. My latest 15 day rent cost me 90€ and I got 3k km. Ford Focus. Even though I checked that I take from one airport and return in another train station I was additionally charged 50€ one way car relocation and 9€ airport fees at the counter. Still good price 140€ for 15 day rental. Also I was offered full insurance, which I did not take, for a whooping 20% of maximum franchise cost – it is worth buying it if I have an accident more than every fifth time during my rental. I believe that upselling the insurance, is the profit margins of insurance companies as many of users do not do the math or don’t have 1.5k at the checkin. When I wanted to extend my rental agreement for 7 days I was offered 290€, that is how I found the Drivy – aka airbnb for cars. The experience was awesome. First I have tested the hybrid car that I wanted to test and second the company is transparent in rental/insurance and that makes them great – no feeling of being ripped off.

Drivy open – is the third thing i like about this company – start renting the car without interaction to a person.
